TYM, a leader in agricultural machinery, is launching an emergency disaster support service for farmers impacted by wildfires.
TYM (Co-CEOs: Hiyong Kim, Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 9th that it has activated its Disaster Control Tower system to provide free inspection services for agricultural machinery to customers in wildfire-affected areas, and will offer products and parts at discounted prices.
Whenever customers are affected by disasters or emergencies, TYM immediately activates its Disaster Control Tower system to deliver prompt and systematic support. This latest emergency disaster support initiative is designed to minimize farm damage caused by large-scale fires and provide meaningful assistance to customers as the farming season approaches.
Farmers affected by wildfires can receive free inspection services for TYM products, including tractors, combines, and rice transplanters. The service is available in nine severely impacted regions: Uiseong, Andong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok in Gyeongbuk; Sancheong, Hadong, Ulju, and Gimhae in Gyeongnam; and Muju in Jeonbuk.
In addition, TYM has prepared special discount policies for affected customers. Farmers can purchase main machinery and parts—including tractors under 70 horsepower, rice transplanters, and seasonal equipment—at reduced prices. Labor costs for repairs and parts replacement will be provided free of charge.
For inquiries regarding emergency disaster support for wildfire damage, customers are encouraged to contact their nearest TYM dealer or the TYM Customer Care Center.
A TYM representative stated, “We sincerely hope for the swift recovery and stability of farmers and local residents affected by wildfires. TYM will do everything possible to provide practical assistance and the highest level of support to help affected communities return to normal as quickly as possible.”
